The portfolio contains one U.S. issued patent, two U.S., and two non-U.S. patent applications which have applications in financial trading systems.
The assets of this Lot relate to automated trading systems such as those used by trading firms, trading solution providers, and e-commerce and auction service providers. Specifically, the assets relate to managing and completing transactions orders within automated trading systems. Traditional trading systems face challenges in handling combined transaction orders that reference multiple transactions occurring at different times and in different locations. The patents in this Lot describe a method for handling a combined transaction order based on a heuristic algorithm wherein each transaction is completed according to the corresponding transaction time and destination. The solution provided by the assets also goes as far as to send a notification upon completion of each order. The described methods may be implemented at an end user's terminal or transaction service provider's trading system.
