The Lot contains one issued U.S. and two U.S. patent applications.
The use of multiple operating systems on a single device has been traditionally limited to desktop computers and laptops. Running multiple operating systems on a mobile device faces challenges as these devices have insufficient memory and slow processor speeds. U.S. patent 7,424,601 describes methods for running a guest operating system inside a host operating system on a mobile device. This technology enables users the opportunity to run multiple applications regardless of their platform. It has huge potential in mobile virtualization, smart phones and mobile applications. As Gartner predicts, more than 50% of new smart phones shipped will be virtualized by 2012.1
