year high
Heading into Thursday's trading, the percentage of overbought stocks in the S&P 1500 Composite Index was at 77 percent, the highest reading since 1994, a sign of strong momentum and that investors are committing money into equities, according to John Kolovos, market technician at Concept Capital in New York.

The S&P 1500 is one of the broadest measures of U.S. equity performance, comprising all stocks in the S&P 500, mid-cap S&P 400, and small-cap S&P 600.
