HELSINKI, March 12 (Reuters) - The total pay of Nokia Chief Executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo leapt 32 percent in 2009, a tough year for the industry in which the company's share price slid 20 percent, a corporate filing showed.
Kallasvuo was paid 2.46 million euros ($3.39 million) in salary and bonuses last year, according to Nokia's annual 20-F form filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday.
That compares with 1.87 million euros in 2008 and 3.39 million in 2007.
Kallasvuo's base salary rose about three percent to 1.18 million euros in 2009, but his cash bonus rose to 1.29 million from 721,733 euros.
The figures exclude gains from stock and option awards.
His total incomes from the company rose 44 percent to 8 million euros.
