Rotterdam, The Netherlands (ots) - PAC officially announces the introduction of two AC Analytical Controls CNS Simulated Distillation systems for fast and accurate distribution information of Hydrocarbon, Nitrogen, and Sulfur.
The AC CNS SIMDIS analyzers contribute to optimizing refining operations by precisely determining the presence of Sulfur and Nitrogen in the Hydrocarbon boiling range span. The instruments reveal more details as ever before; not only the total Nitrogen and Sulfur concentrations are determined, but also the valuable information on component distribution in the samples is reported using the high resolution power from Gas Chromatography.
The AC CNS Simdis applications are the only instruments on the market that combine boiling point distribution testing for Hydrocarbon, Nitrogen, and Sulfur in a single analysis. The two released AC CNS Simdis applications are based on the well-known Simdis methods EN ISO 3924, IP406 and ASTM D2887 for samples with final boiling point up to 538°C (1000°F). For samples ranging from 100°C (212°F) to 735°C (1355°F) PAC offers the HighTemp CNS Simdis Analyzer based on EN15199-1, DIN51435, IP480 and ASTM D6352/D7500.
The AC CNS Simdis applications are part of PAC's well-established AC Analytical Controls product line.
