Canon U.S.A., Inc., an award-winning provider of image capture solutions, will showcase the precision, speed and ease-of-use of its digital document scanners and check transports at the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) National Convention and Techworld Show beginning today at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center. Canon's exhibit will be located in Booth # 320.

- imageFORMULA P-150 "Scan-tini" Personal Document Scanner: The P-150's compact size and simple use liberates document capture by taking it beyond the walls of the office to the convenience of any user location. It is ideal for use by "road warriors" and office users for general-purpose distributed document scanning applications, as well as check scanning in remote deposit capture applications. Measuring only 11 inches long, 3.7 inches wide and 1.6 inches high and weighing just over two pounds, the Canon P-150 redefines the minimum dimensions of a document scanner with automatic document feeder. The Canon P-150 can scan batches at up to 15 pages-per-minute (ppm) and 30 images-per-minute1 (ipm), yet still fits easily into a briefcase. For quick use and minimal set-up, the P-150 can use electrical power via a single USB cable connected to a PC, and when first connected, will immediately launch Canon CaptureOnTouch Lite through its "Plug-and-Scan" capability.
- imageFORMULA CR-25 Check Transport: Compactly designed, the Canon CR-25 is an easy-to-use solution perfect for remote deposit / merchant capture applications. It can scan up to 25 checks per minuteII(cpm) and is compliant with Check 21. The CR-25 reads MICR data, comes bundled with the Silver Bullet Ranger Driver, and includes features such as Infrared Double Feed Detection and Paper Thickness Adjustment capabilities for reliable check feeding.
- imageFORMULA CR-180 II Check Transport: Offering a fast, reliable solution for batch conversion of paper checks into electronic images, the Canon CR-180II is perfect for high-volume distributed or branch capture, and remittance / lockbox processing applications. It can scan up to 180 double-sided cpmIII, while simultaneously reading Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) data. The CR-180II delivers high-quality images compliant with Check 21 and features two output pockets for more convenient post-scan sorting, and a built-in endorser. It comes bundled with Silver Bullet Ranger Transport API software that allows users to mix and match the types of item processing software and hardware they select.
- CanoScan LiDE 200 and CanoScan LiDE 100 Color Image Scanners: The CanoScan LiDE200 and CanoScan LiDE100 provide a compact solution for scanning and archiving documents. The CanoScan LiDE200 has a maximum optical resolution of up to 4800 x 4800 dpi while the CanoScan LiDE100 has a maximum optical resolution of up to 2400 x 4800 dpiIV. Auto Scan Mode detects the type of original source material, such as a photo, business card, notebook or form, automatically adjusts settings to deliver optimal results, and both scans and saves the image. The Advanced Z-Lid enables clear, complete scans of thick originals such as notebooks. To reduce behind-the-desk clutter, each unit requires one USB 2.0 high-speed cable to connect the device to a computer and provide the operating power. With an enhanced PDF function, multipage documents can be filed easily and letter-sized color documents can be scanned on the CanoScan LiDE200 in approximately 14 seconds. While on the CanoScan LiDE100 the scan can be completed in approximately 24 secondsV at a resolution of 300 dpi. The three-color LED found on both color image scanners requires less power consumption, further increasing device efficiency.
