FUQI INTERNATIONAL INC, $12.12, down 36 pct
The Chinese jewelry maker said it has identified some accounting errors having an impact on its results for first three quarters of 2009, and forecast a fourth-quarter profit below Wall Street estimates.
Frontier Financial Corp, $2.78, down 34 pct
The lender revised its results to reflect higher losses and said the events raised substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.
MEDICINES CO, $9.93, up 20 pct
A federal court asked the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to reconsider its decision regarding the patent extension for the company's anti-clotting drug, Angiomax.
MERIDIAN BIOSCIENCE INC, $20, down 16 pct
The diagnostic test kit maker lowered its 2010 outlook citing a weaker-than-expected second quarter, hurt by lower demand for its upper respiratory and C. difficile products.
POLYCOM INC, $32.82, up 11 pct
Private equity firm Apax Partners has been talking with Polycom to take the U.S. video conferencing company private for more than $3 billion, the Financial Times said.

The company posted a narrower-than-expected quarterly loss, but said its auditors have expressed doubts on its ability to continue as a going concern, partly due to recurring losses from its operations.
