HOUSTON, March 19 (Reuters) - Gasoline slid 2 cents on
Friday as two refineries restarted units that had sudden,
unplanned shutdowns earlier in the week, traders said, traders
said.
Unleaded ethanol-blend CARBOB gasoline in Los Angeles traded at 5 cents, 5.5 cents, 3.75 cents and then 3.25 cents per gallon over April NYMEX RBOB gasoline, which dropped 4.53 cents to $2.2556 a gallon.
In the San Francisco Bay market, March CARBOB was priced at 3 cents under L.A.
April CARBOB was down a penny, finishing at 5 cents over May NYMEX RBOB.
CARB diesel was only seen in April contracts in a bid-offer spread at 4 cents/5.75 cents over NYMEX May heating oil in L.A.
Ultra-low sulfur diesel was a penny under CARB diesel.
March L.A. jet fuel finished up 0.25 cent after trades at 6 cents and 6.25 cents over NYMEX heating oil.
In the Portland, Oregon, market, unleaded gasoline was down
1 cent in a bid
offer spread at 6 cents/4.5 cents per gallon under NYMEX RBOB while diesel was 4 cents/7 cents over NYMEX heating oil.
