GOLDMAN SACHS ASSET MANAGEMENT
The asset management arm of Goldman Sachs Group Inc appointed Kathleen Hughes as global co-head of its cash distribution business. Hughes, who was formerly at JP Morgan's asset management unit as managing director and head of global liquidity, will assume her new role in September and will be based in London.
TULLETT PREBON PLC
The brokerage services provider said it appointed Christopher McGuigan as head of the Americas for its Tullett Prebon Information unit. McGuigan was most recently with MarketAxess where he managed its data services business.
MARSH
The unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos said it promoted Richard Waterer to the newly created role of head of operational risk for its Marsh Risk Consulting unit in the UK.
HAWKSFORD INTERNATIONAL
The wealth structuring firm said it appointed Peter Murley as its executive director. Murley will be based in New Jersey and joins the firm from Coalesce Consulting.
LEGAL & GENERAL PROPERTY
The unit of institutional property fund managers Legal & General Investment Managers appointed Will Edwards as fund manager for its linked pensions property fund and Greg Westover as senior asset manager for its linked life fund.
Edwards joins from DTZ Investment Management where he served as associate director and Westover joins the firm in September from Ballymore where he worked as a commercial asset manager.
F&C ASSET MANAGEMENT PLC
The European investment management group said it appointed Emily Fitz-James as a client director in its institutional team, effective Aug. 31. Fitz-James was most recently with Legal and General Investment Management, where she worked as a liability-driven investment (LDI) account manager.
WORLD GOLD COUNCIL
The World Gold Council appointed David Badham as the head of investment marketing for Europe, effective immediately. Badham will be based in the council's London office and joins from the Royal Bank of Scotland where he served as EMEA head of communications and marketing for global markets.
ACCRETIVE SOLUTIONS
The consulting and executive search firm said late on Monday it named Richard Moran as vice-chairman of the firm's board of directors. Moran is a San Francisco-based venture capitalist, author and expert on organizational effectiveness.
The firm also named David Martin to its board of directors. Martin currently serves as vice-chairman of CityView, an institutional investment firm.
