Munich (ots) - Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC (LSE: HIK) (NASDAQ Dubai: HIK) ("Hikma"), the fast growing multinational pharmaceutical group, today announces that Hikma Pharma GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into an exclusive co-promotion agreement with Therabel Pharma Deutschland GmbH to support the launch of Loramyc® for cancer patients in the retail oncology community. Commenting on the agreement, Dr. Martin Stapf, General Manager Germany and Global Business Unit Director Oncology of Hikma Pharma GmbH said "We are delighted to be partnering with Therabel, bringing together Therabel's strong knowledge and broad coverage of the German hospital market and Hikma Pharma GmbH's extensive experience in the oncology segment through its ribosepharm division. This combination will provide the market access required to ensure the success of this specialty drug in the oncology segment."
Commenting on the partnership, Jean-Michel Robert, President of the Strategic committee of Therabel said "Our team is committed to create a hospital presence through Loramyc® with oncologists and HIV specialists and we are delighted to deepen this presence further with the experience and support of Hikma sales force directed to private oncologists and hematologists."
