WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Lindsay Corp. (LNN) Thursday posted a marginal decline in fourth-quarter profit to $5.9 million, or $0.46 per share, from $6.0 million, or $0.48 per share in the prior-year. This year's results include $2.6 million, or $0.13 per share, in one-time costs.
Six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.61 per share. Analysts' estimates usually exclude special items.
Total revenues for the period were $116.1 million compared to $87.2 million, thanks to a 60 percent surge in irrigation equipment revenues to $91.4 million. Six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated revenues of $108.51 million.
