Firm selects technology designed to improve client relationship management
ADERANT, the world's largest independent legal software company, announced today that one of the UK's leading law firms, Lovetts Plc, has selected CRM4Legal 2011 for its client relationship management (CRM) and business development needs. Lovetts becomes the first business in the United Kingdom to implement the latest version of this award-winning software built on the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
Lovetts Plc chose the software due to its advanced Microsoft Outlook and Office integration and ability to organize and share client relationship data across the firm. With a graphical user interface and hundreds of features and visual enhancements, CRM4Legal 2011 can be customized to meet the unique requirements of the firm's solicitors' practice. Its intuitive work environment also helped set it apart from the competition.
"CRM4Legal 2011 allows us to more easily share up-to-date information and knowledge of clients and business prospects throughout the staff," said Charles Wilson, chairman and managing director of Lovetts. "The software provides access to critical business intelligence that can help us improve client service and resource management, ensuring superior service and advice."
Located in Guildford, Surrey, Lovetts specializes in the recovery of delinquent commercial and consumer debt, as well as any commercial litigation resulting from debtor and creditor agreements. The firm has more than 700 clients, including members of the FTSE 100 & 250 Index. Lovetts had been managing its client and business development data through two different systems, but decided that the time had come to move all of the information into one integrated database. Lovetts has a 20-year history of developing its own software, which has given the firm the ability to make frequent changes and customizations to fit business needs. They weren't willing to give that up in the changeover to a new CRM system.
By selecting CRM4Legal 2011 as its technology partner, Lovetts has found that the software's relationship intelligence tools will operate seamlessly with their own SQL and .NET software, without requiring lawyers and staff to change their work habits or learn difficult and cumbersome new technology.
"When we found out there was a Microsoft product that had been customized for lawyers, it seemed like an obvious choice," said Chris Hunter, marketing and client relationship manager for Lovetts. "We wanted a technology that would pull everything together and harmonize with our own software. CRM4Legal 2011 is very intuitive. After half an hour of playing around with it, you get a good idea of how the navigation works and how easy it is to use."
CRM4Legal 2011 was launched in April of this year, shortly after Microsoft's new Dynamics CRM 2011 made its "on premise" debut. The 2011 version includes a host of new features including role-tailored forms, real-time dashboards, team-based ownership capabilities, enhanced navigation and a fluent user interface.
Lovetts will be phasing in company-wide implementation of the software over the course of a few months, but expects the client side to be fully operational within the next four to eight weeks.
