WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Quiksilver Inc. (ZQK) said Thursday Craig Stevenson, who has served as the company's Americas region president, has been appointed Global Brand President and Chief Operating Officer of the company.
Rob Colby, previously Quiksilver Americas Chief Operating Officer, succeeds Stevenson as Americas region president.
The promotions, effective November 1, follow a period of significant improvement in the financial performance of the company's Americas business, the company said.
Stevenson served as Quiksilver Americas President since January 2009 and was also Quiksilver Global Brand Manager between April 2007 and January 2010.
Colby served as Quiksilver Americas Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since May 2010.
