With renovations to seating, projection, lobby and restrooms, guests in Vestal and Binghamton area can enjoy the ultimate movie going experience beginning Dec. 16
Like many in the Binghamton and Vestal communities, AMC Theatres® was greatly affected when the heavy rains caused flooding in September. AMC Loews Vestal Town Square 9, closed since the floods, has undergone major renovations and a complete transformation, emerging as the premier theatre in the area. The theatre reopens to the public Friday, Dec. 16.
"The damage to the theatre was significant, but so was our resolve to remain great partners with the Vestal and Binghamton communities," said Mark McDonald, executive vice president of Global Development at AMC Theatres. "We approached this as an opportunity to deliver a premium moviegoing experience for our guests."
The renovations provide an enhanced presentation quality for guests, as every auditorium has been converted to a Sony 4K digital projection experience and now feature state-of-the-art speakers. Every theatre seat has been removed and replaced, and guests will now enjoy movies from luxury power recliners in every auditorium. Other modifications to the theatre include a renovation of the theatre's restrooms, as well as renovations to the lobby area.
About the only thing that hasn't changed at AMC Loews Vestal 9 is the price of ticket, which remains the same even with all the enhancements.
