TOKYO (dpa-AFX) - Komatsu Ltd. (KMTUY.PK) reported third-quarter net income attributable to Komatsu of 34.7 billion yen or 35.98 yen per share, down from 36.86 billion yen or 38.06 yen per share a year ago. Net sales grew to 462.64 billion yen from 442.21 billion yen in the prior-year quarter. Looking ahead, the company now expects net income attributable to Komatsu Ltd. for fiscal year ending March 31, 2012 of 186 billion yen, on net sales of 2.05 trillion yen.
