WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Badger Meter, Inc. (BMI) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $1.2 million or $0.08 per share, compared to a record $6.3 million or $0.42 per share for the year-ago quarter. Net sales for the fourth quarter fell 6.4% to $60.71 million from $64.84 million a year earlier. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.28 per share on revenue of $61.02 million for the fourth quarter.
