LONDON (dpa-AFX) - TalkTalk Telecom Group Plc (TALK.L) on Tuesday said its third-quarter revenues declined from last year, but remained stable sequentially, in line with forecast. The company also lifted its full-year forecast. In its third quarter interim management statement, the company noted that it added 63,000 fully on-net customers. Total revenue was 422 million pounds, compared to 444 million pounds last year and 421 million pounds in the second quarter. Broadband revenue was 312 million pounds and Broadband ARPU was 25.3 pounds, both higher than the second quarter.
Further, Dido Harding, Chief Executive of TalkTalk said the company is raising full year EBITDA and earnings per share guidance as a result of the success of unbundling program, ARPU growth and earlier than expected delivery of cost savings. For the year, the company lifted earnings per share guidance by 6 percent to 17.0 pence to 17.5 pence from previous guidance of 15.5 pence to 16.5 pence, and EBITDA margin guidance to 18 percent-19 percent from previous forecast of 17 percent to 18 percent.
