TAIPEI (dpa-AFX) - United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC) Thursday reported unaudited net sales for the month of January of NT$8.05 billion compared to NT$9.52 billion a year ago, 15.48 percent down.
On a month-over-month basis, net sales were down 0.67 percent.
Since this is the first month of the calendar year 2012, cumulative sales were the same as the monthly sales.
