DUESSELDORF (dpa-AFX) - The majority shareholder of Demag Cranes AG (DMGCF.PK), the Terex Industrial Holding AG, has made a counter-proposal in today's shareholder meeting to distribute for the financial year 2010/2011 only a dividend pay-out of 0.04 EUR per share and therefore will not support the proposal of the management board and the supervisory board, Demag Cranes said.
Demag Cranes AG said that its management board and supervisory board had made a proposal to the shareholders' meeting to resolve on a dividend pay-out of 0.78 EUR per share.
Considering the majorities, it can be expected that the counter-proposal of Terex Industrial Holding AG will be successful and that the shareholders' meeting of Demag Cranes will adopt a resolution to pay-out a dividend of 0.04 EUR per share, Demag Cranes said.
