Vizrt Ltd. announced today that the Company has signed a deal worth USD 334,000 for the purchase of Online products with a large traditional Publishing house in Germany.
The new customer has purchased the Vizrt Online suite to provide them with a high-performance content management system. This is a software-only purchase with the hardware provided and implementation done through a partner company.
The Vizrt Online Suite includes Escenic Content Engine, the back end system that manages text, images, audio files, video clips and all the other digital assets that are used on modern websites. The suite furthermore contains
the Escenic Content Studio as its production tool. Escenic Content Studio allows reporters to create complex page layouts with simple operations in an easy to use interface.
Martin Burkhalter, CEO for Vizrt, stated, "One of the major market dynamics traditional publishing houses have to deal with is the shift in consumption of news and other content towards online sources. What sets media houses apart from newly founded online content providers is their brand.
