CHICAGO (dpa-AFX) - Hamilton Sundstrand Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (UTX), and a key supplier of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner program, and Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance have signed a long-term repair license agreement for providing MRO or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul services for Hamilton Sundstrand's components on the Boeing 787, Hamilton Sundstrand said.
The company noted that the relationship allows AFI KLM's engineering and maintenance division to expand its nose-to-tail service by including Hamilton Sundstrand components to Boeing 787 customers in its portfolio.
The agreement also enables AFI KLM E&M to become an official member of Hamilton Sundstrand's Boeing 787 MRO supplier network.
