Explores Leading Technology Solutions for Overcoming TD-LTE and LTE-Advanced Timing Challenges in 4G Networks and Small Cells
Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: VTSS), a leading provider of advanced IC solutions for Carrier and Enterprise networks, announced that its chief technology officer, Dr. Martin Nuss, will present to executives representing global network service providers during the LTE World Summit 2012 at the International Convention Center (CCIB) in Barcelona, Spain.
"Ethernet backhaul, particularly in Mobile Access networks, is rapidly changing from a simple connectivity issue to a complex networking and synchronization challenge," said Dr. Nuss. "Solving frequency and phase synchronization issues is critically important as Carriers deploy next-generation TD-LTE and LTE-A in their networking infrastructure. Vitesse's R&D efforts have been intensely focused on solving these networking and synchronization issues in small, power efficient and highly scalable solutions. Our discussion at LTE World Summit will examine the technology options for Carriers to stay in front of these mobile networking requirements."
Dr. Nuss is scheduled to speak during Track 10, "TD LTE; LTE-Advanced," taking place Thursday, May 24, 2012, beginning at 4:30 p.m. local time. In addition to the presentation, Mobile Access technology experts from Vitesse will host private tutorial sessions on the adoption trends, industry standards and other requirements needed for the mobile access market.
