PEMBROKE, Bermuda - April 23, 2012 - Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. [NYSE:ENH], a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, today announced that Nicholas Campbell has been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer with responsibility for Endurance's companywide enterprise risk management activities. In this new role, he will report to Endurance's Chief Executive Officer, David Cash, and will work in partnership with Endurance's Chief Actuary.

A native Bermudian, Mr. Campbell joined Endurance's Worldwide Reinsurance operation in November 2009 as Senior Vice President and Head of Specialty Treaty Reinsurance in Bermuda, where he was responsible for leading Endurance's Workers' Compensation Catastrophe, Clash, Political Risk, and Aviation treaty reinsurance product lines. Previously he served as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary for RCS Limited, a Bermuda participant in the structured credit, finance and insurance collateral markets.
Mr. Campbell started his career at Towers Perrin in the United Kingdom, returning to Bermuda in 1999 where he held several actuarial and consulting positions, including Vice President and Actuary with Centre Solutions and Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary with ACE Capital Re. Mr. Campbell is a graduate of Cambridge University, a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
