Orascom Development: Generalversammlung genehmigt alle Anträge des Verwaltungsrates
Altdorf/Kairo, 7. Mai 2012 - Heute fand in Altdorf die 4. ordentliche Generalversammlung der Orascom Development Holding AG (Orascom Development)statt. An der Generalversammlung nahmen 354 Aktionäre teil.
Sämtliche Anträge des Verwaltungsrates wurden mit deutlicher Mehrheit angenommen. Die zur Wiederwahl stehenden bisherigen Verwaltungsräte (alle ausser Amr Sheta) wurden für ein weiteres Amtsjahr bestätigt. Es wurde zudem beschlossen, für das Geschäftsjahr 2011 keine Dividende auszuschütten.
Die 5. ordentliche Generalversammlung der Orascom Development Holding AG findet am 13. Mai 2013 statt.

Über die Gruppe
Die Gründung von Orascom Touristic Establishments (OTE) im Jahr 1989 markierte den Beginn der Gruppe als integrierter Städteentwickler. Nach Namenswechseln und Reorganisationen firmierte das Hauptgeschäft unter Orascom Hotels & Development (OHD). Seit dem Vollzug der öffentlichen Umtauschofferte von Orascom Development Holding AG (Orascom Development) für OHD im Mai 2009 ist Orascom Development die neue Muttergesellschaft von OHD. Orascom Development verfügt über eine Doppelkotierung mit einem Primär-Listing im Hauptsegment an der SIX Swiss Exchange und einer Zweitkotierung an der EGX Egyptian Exchange. Orascom Development ist ein führender Entwickler von integrierten Ortschaften/Städten, die Hotels, Privatvillen, Wohnungen, Freizeiteinrichtungen wie etwa Golfplätze und Jachthäfen aber auch unterstützende Infrastruktur umfassen. Das breit diversifizierte Portfolio von Orascom Development umfasst Destinationen in neun Ländern (Ägypten, Vereinigte Arabische Emirate, Jordanien, Oman, Schweiz, Marokko, Montenegro, Grossbritannien und Rumänien). Die Gruppe betreibt momentan fünf Städte: El Gouna, Taba Heights und Haram City in Ägypten, The Cove in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und Jebel Sifah in Oman.
