NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE (dpa-AFX) - Thales (THLEF.PK) reported first-quarter revenues of EUR 2.68 billion, up 7 percent from EUR 2.52 billion in the prior year period.
Excluding DCNS impact, revenue for the quarter declined to EUR 2.48 billion from EUR 2.52 billion in the comparable quarter last year.
The company's order intake for the quarter increased 32% to EUR 2.62 billion from EUR 1.94 billion in the year-ago period.
Defence & Security revenues declined slightly to EUR 1.33 billion, compared with EUR 1.36 billion in the first quarter of 2011, while Aerospace & Transport revenues were EUR 1.14 billion, up 2% from EUR 1.12 billion last year.
