Recent news from the Fifth China Game Developers Conference (CGDC) announced that Bae Jae Hyun, chief producer of the well-known online game "Blade & Soul" under NCSoft, will attend the conference in July, 2012 as one of the keynote speakers. CGDC is the one of the most influential game developers conferences worldwide.
Bae Jae Hyun, the incumbent CPO of NCSoft, is the chief producer of the monumental online game "Blade & Soul" and the chief game developing officer of NCSoft. Having participated in the development of "Lineage" in 1999, Bae became the producer of "Lineage II" in 2001. He is best known for the premium quality of his productions. Bae will share his experience and techniques in developing next-gen online games, which are burgeoning in China, at the coming CGDC2012.
Bae's "Blade & Soul" was the latest game by NCSoft with Tencent as the operation partner in China. This 3DMMORPG is a martial arts fantasy aiming to bring fresh amusement other than monotony to players. Producer Bae Jae Hyun has confirmed his invitation to attend the Fifth CGDC and will make his debut at the CGDC forum, sharing with professional game producers and developers from around the world his ideas about the development of next-gen online games, evolution of graphics and playing skills, combination of combat and story, and practical game development concepts. His input will, no doubt, promote the academic atmosphere of this year's conference.
The Fifth CGDC will be held at Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai adjacent to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 25 to 27 July, 2012. On its fifth anniversary, after the release of the first keynote lecturer, Keiji Inafune, the former chief producer of CAPCOM and creator of classic games "Mega Man", "Onimusha" and "Lost Planet", the Organizing Committee announced the attendance of the second keynote lecturer, Bae Jae Hyun. Every year CGDC guides the direction of the development of China's game industry and it is our expectation that it will lead China's game industry out to the world.
