Airline allows passengers to change travel plans and waives change fees for travel to, from or through Colorado Springs
Due to the impact of a wildfire in Colorado Springs and nearby areas, Frontier Airlines today enacted a flexible policy for travel to, from or through Colorado Springs. This policy applies to customers scheduled to travel June 27 – July 4, 2012, who purchased their tickets on or before June 27, 2012.
"There is already so much devastation from these horrible wildfires and we know it is far from over," said Frontier's President and CEO, David Siegel. "With so many residents displaced from these fires, including some of our own employees, we hope this additional flexibility helps take a burden off anyone expecting guests or traveling themselves this coming week."
Customers who have already started their travel may make one itinerary change. Rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, blackouts, and minimum or maximum stay requirements have been waived. Origin and destination cities must remain the same. Changes must be made by midnight, June 30, 2012, and travel completed by July 7, 2012.
Customers who have not begun travel may make one change to their travel plans without a change fee by June 30, 2012. All rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule or booking class.
