SANTA CLARA (dpa-AFX) - Agilent Technologies Inc. (A) Monday said it agreed to acquire AT4 wireless' Test Systems business. Privately held AT4 wireless, based in Malaga, Spain, is a global provider of testing services and solutions for wireless communications.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by early August. Financial details were not disclosed.
The acquisition will expand Agilent's wireless test footprint by adding NFC/RFID and Bluetooth test solutions for conformance and R&D.
'We are very excited to further extend our lead in wireless test by adding products, test coverage and critical talent through this acquisition,' said Guy Séné, president of Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group.
