BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - Amid the releases of U.K. claimant count data for June and the Bank of England's minutes of the Monetary Policy Committee meeting held on July 4 and 5 at 4.30 am ET Wednesday, the pound declined against its major counterparts.
The pound is now trading at 1.5623 against the greenback, 123.50 against the yen, 0.7864 against the euro and 1.5280 against the franc.
