By letter dated 17 July 2012, Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland, notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz) that on 12 July 2012 Deutsche Bank AG exceeded the thresholds of 3 percent and 5 percent of the voting rights in Linde AG, Munich, Germany, and on that date amounted to 7.73 percent. This corresponded to 14,298,180 no-par value ordinary bearer shares.
At the same time, Deutsche Bank AG notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz) that on 13 July 2012 Deutsche Bank AG fell below the thresholds of 3 percent and 5 percent of the voting rights in Linde AG and on that date amounted to 0.00 percent (0 voting rights).
The notification requirement pursuant to section 21 para 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz) is based on Deutsche Bank AG's co-lead-management in a capital increase of Linde AG, registered with the commercial register on 12 July 2012.
