The trusty Ford Transit, a regular sight on British roads is the most popular van. It's powerful, efficient diesel engine, large load capacity and advanced safety systems make it the first choice commercial vehicle amongst van drivers.
The Mercedes badge represents luxury within the motor industry, and it seems that despite their often 'dirty' work, van drivers still look for luxury in their vehicle. The Mercedes Sprinter took second spot as the most driven van amongst the UK's van drivers, closely followed by the Vauxhall Combo.
Volkswagen and Citroen are the manufacturers that make up the remaining places.
The top five models according to Swinton Van customers are:
