ABOUT: "Shiner" takes place in the spring of 1994, when two outcast teens make a pact to die happy: see Nirvana at the Hollywood Bowl then jump off the 101 overpass together. But a first kiss, a restraining order and Kurt Cobain's declining health threaten their plans. This grunge, rock-fueled love story was named this month to the Tracking Board's Young and Hungry List, a roll of the top 100 Buzzworthy scripts of 2012.
CREDITS: Stars Graham Sibley ("Crack Whore Galore," "House of Gold") and Laila Ayad ("Bachelorette"). Neil Patrick Stewart ("Elephant Man," "In The Heights") directs this highly physical production from a script written by Christian Durso.
