On 29 January 2013, the Board of TEO LT, AB (hereinafter - "TEO" or "the
Company") decided to appoint Edis Kasperaviaius, who until now has been working
as Director of Human Resources Unit of the Company, to the position of Chief
Sales Officer starting from 14 February 2013. Darius Gudaaiauskas, former Chief
Sales Officer, has decided to withdraw from TEO Group.
While performing his duties as Director of Human Resources Unit for nine years, E. Kasperaviaius led the organisational development of TEO, structural change management and employee competence development, and was one of the developers of the Company's customer care standards and management principles. He had previously worked as Human Resources Manager at Hansabankas (now Swedbank), and he is also one of the founders of the Association of Human Resources Professionals and a member of its board.
E. Kasperaviaius is a graduate of the International Executive MBA program at the Baltic Management Institute, as well as holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the Vilnius University.
According to Arunas Å iksta, General Manager of TEO, the trends of the Lithuanian telecommunications market have led to the need to dedicate most of the Company's existing capacities for the implementation of customer expectations, and for ensuring them, the Company needs a different kind of leadership.
According to him, the contribution of D.Gudaaiauskas to the Company's business activities was highly significant and allowed the Company to become a leader in its field. "I, on my own behalf and on behalf of TEO shareholders, express gratitude to Darius for the successful organization and development of the Company's sales, as well as for the improvement of the Company's customer care", - A.Å iksta said.
"After seven successful years in the highly competitive and rapidly changing telecommunications market, I am determined to take further challenges. I am glad to have had the opportunity to work in one of the most professional teams in Lithuania, where I was able to develop and pass on my knowledge about sales management", - D.Gudaaiauskas said.
