ROME (dpa-AFX) - Enel Green Power (EN, ENLAY.PK) reported that its 2012 income before taxes decreased to 789 million euros from 796 million euros prior year. Earnings per share was 0.08 euros, flat with prior year. Net income to shareholders amounted to 413 million euros, up from 408 million euros posted in 2011.
Total revenues were 2.69 billion euros compared to 2.53 billion euros last year, an increase of 6.4% due to the net effect of an increase of 317 million euros in revenues from the sale of electricity and a reduction of 156 million euros in other revenues. Excluding non-recurring income recognized in 2011, revenues increased 14.6% from last year.
EBIT totalled 972 million euros, up 6.5% from 913 million euros in 2011. Excluding the impact of the non-recurring income and value adjustments recognized in 2011, EBIT rose by 18.5%.
Enel Green Power Board proposed dividend of 2.59 eurocents per share for 2012.
