Citi Commercial Cards, the award winning Global Commercial Card provider, and Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate services company, have announced the launch of a new Integrated Meetings Management solution.
Citi and HRG recently launched a new solution to better support Meetings & Events (M&E) programmes across the globe. Through the integration of Citi's Virtual Meeting Events payment product and HRG's renowned Meetings, Groups and Events (MGE) team, the two industry leaders have created a core new development which delivers an enhanced, next-generation M&E solution for use within the overarching travel programme solutions space. Combining services, technology, advisory, payment and data management for large multinational and global clients - HRG Citi's joint Integrated Meetings Solution offers a comprehensive package which can simplify and assist clients in the development of a strategic meetings management programme.
Meeting planners from HRG's MGE team will have access to an online portal which connects directly into Citi Commercial Cards. From this portal, the HRG experts will be able to access, request and use Citi's virtual payment cards to pay for expenditure relating to each meeting or event they are planning for a client. The result is a complete sourcing to settlement proposition that provides clients with the ease and security of card payments as well as the convenience of data capture and reporting.
HRG's use of Citi's virtual M&E payment product within this travel spend category provides many advantages including:
- High levels of security, control, and automation of both spend and data
- Streamlined client business process, reducing time and costs associated with invoice processing and reconciliation
- Consolidated M&E programme spend capture for increased visibility and payment benefits
- Spend reporting by business division, individual meeting or specific suppliers to maximise buying power and negotiations
- Increased overall budget control
John Harvey, Group Marketing Director at HRG comments: "Working closely with Citi is a very positive and collaborative experience. We share a common understanding and approach to doing business, and this enables us to focus on developments which add value to our clients. The launch of our new Integrated Meetings Solution is another excellent example of our commitment to our clients. We are using new technology and combining it with the in-depth knowledge of our expert teams to make life easier for our clients so they can concentrate on their everyday jobs."
Lisa Matysiewicz, Global Product Manager, Citi Global Commercial Cards, adds: "This new integrated offering is another smart connection in the HRG and Citi preferred relationship. Utilising the latest Virtual Card technology, our proposition will, without a doubt, help clients bring together the key components of a Strategic Meetings Programme and help them achieve greater control and savings benefits for their organisation."
