LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC, (HIK.L), a multinational pharmaceutical group, Wednesday said it dropped the plan of divesting its global Injectables business, as it is performing very well and that the management remains confident of executing Injectables growth strategy.
Darwazah, CEO of Hikma said the Injectables business would be an added benefit to their existing oral generic business in the US, Middle East and North Africa.
Based on the attractiveness of the injectables market and the strength of the business, many third parties had evinced interest in investing in the company.
Tuesday, Hikma closed at GBX 985 on the LSE.
