Proposed appointment of Mrs. Laura G. Quatela to the Board of Directors of Technicolor
Paris, April 29, 2013 - The Board of Directors of Technicolor (Euronext Paris: TCH) met on April 25 and approved the draft resolutions to be submitted to the Shareholders' Meeting to be held on May 23 at 4:00 pm. The resolutions and the documents related to the Meeting will be published in the BALO and made available on the Group's website on April 30, 2013.
The appointment of Mrs. Laura G. Quatela as a new Director will be proposed to the Shareholders' Meeting. Mrs Quatela was proposed to the Technicolor's Board of Directors by the Fonds Stratégique d'Investissement (FSI) which acquired a stake in Technicolor and owns presently (in concert with the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) 7.5% of the Company's share capital. Following approval by the Shareholders' Meeting, the Board of Directors would therefore be comprised of 7 independent Directors out of 10.
Mrs. Laura G. Quatela, President of Eastman Kodak Company & President, Personalized Imaging, has a strong expertise in intellectual property strategy and policy. Her expertise in the technology and IP field will strengthen the skills of the Board of Directors and support the Group in achieving its Amplify 2015 strategic roadmap.
Mrs. Laura G. Quatela is a graduate of Denison University, B.A., International Politics (1979) and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, J.D. (1982). She is fluent in Mandarin.
