WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (MDRX) Thursday reported first-quarter loss of $11.6 million or $0.07 per share, compared to profit of $5.8 million or $0.03 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $16.2 million or $0.09 per share. On average, 18 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.14 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues decreased to $347.1 million from $364.7 million last year. Adjusted revenues for the period was $348.0 million. Analysts expected revenues of $367.76 million.
