LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Ricardo Plc. (RCDO.L) announced that it has appointed Ian Gibson as its Chief Financial Officer, effect from 15 May 2013.
Ian Gibson is a experienced finance professional with almost thirty years' commercial experience, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Cable & Wireless Worldwide plc. He spent seventeen years in a number of senior financial management positions within the Cable & Wireless Group. Prior to Cable & Wireless, he spent twelve years at Deloitte where he worked in the audit and forensic accounting teams of the London and Toronto offices.
In order to allow an orderly handover, Bill Jessup, Interim Group Finance Director, will stand down from the Board on 30 June 2013. Ian will join the Board with effect from 1July 2013.
