Will tell story of how Nissan used EA to manage change demands
John Ferguson, senior enterprise architect, Nissan, and Ian Halliday-Pegg, managing director, MEGA, will speak at the Forrester Forum for Enterprise Architecture Professionals in London June 10, 2013.
Their presentation "Dealing With the 'Perfect Storm': When Major Business Demands Arrive Together . ." will focus on how businesses can deal with significant operational and change demands, even when the demands exceed the capability of the business to deliver.
"In recent lean years, businesses have pared themselves down to "just enough" to deal with a certain quantity and pace of change, limiting their ability to react quickly to cope with changes in demand and stifling growth and profitability," explained Ferguson. "When Nissan faced with its own "perfect storm," we exploited a sustainable enterprise architecture approach to cope with the volume and complexity of work."
Nissan, which offers auto and marine products and services in more than 160 countries, worked with MEGA to deliver the desired results within the required timescales and with high integrity.
