VEVEY (dpa-AFX) - Nestlé S.A. (NSRGY.PK, NSTR.L) announced the retirement of Werner Bauer, the company's Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, effective 31 August 2013. The Board has appointed Stefan Catsicas, currently Provost and Executive Vice President of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, effective 1 September 2013.
Stefan Catsicas has a strong R&D background, in both business and academia.
