Maximum capacity and cycles with the PowerSafe SBS EON Technology 2V range
The PowerSafe SBS EON Technology 2V cells are a major extension to the highly successful PowerSafe SBS product range. The red-coated batteries use thin plate pure lead (TPPL) technology providing superior energy density. The advanced TPPL technology in the OPzV sized casing makes PowerSafe SBS EON Technology 2V batteries the powerful choice for long and trouble-free service for especially for hybrid telecom, and large-scale energy storage (utilities) applications. Due to the high energy density, the same capacity is available in significantly smaller space. The expected capacity increase can be up to 50 per cent more compared to the OPzV battery of the same size.
PowerSafe SOL G range - performance in harsh conditions
The new PowerSafe SOL G range is specifically designed to provide solid performance from renewable solar energy systems in harsh conditions. It works in hot and cold temperatures, charges efficiently in cold temperatures, operates reliably at variable state of charge and requires minimal maintenance making it ideal for gas and oil fields and hybrid telecoms applications. The PowerSafe SOL G range is based on Ni-Cd technology.
"We are delighted to introduce these three new products. They are all different. The EnerSys Home Energy Storage, PowerSafe SBS EON Technology 2V range and PowerSafe SOL G range are designed with details and technologies that make them best in class and provide optimal performance", says Holger Aschke, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, EnerSys
