WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Investment manager Blackrock Inc.'s (BLK) chairman and chief executive officer Laurence Fink received $22.9 million in total compensation in 2013, a regulatory filing showed Tuesday. Fink's compensation totaled $20.23 million in 2012 and $21.88 million in 2011.
The latest compensation comprises $500,000 in salary, $9.85 million in bonus and stock awards of $12.4 million, apart from $192,500 which is under 'All Other Compensation.'
Robert Kapito, president of the firm, received $17.68 million, higher than the previous two years. Chief Operating Officer Charles Hallac's pay totaled $10.12 million, up from 2011 and 2012.
BLK closed up 0.8 percent at $300.71 on Tuesday.
