Global Education company Pearson has accredited a series of qualifications offered by leadership experts DNA Definitive. The initial suite of courses focuses on Simplexity® leadership principles which addresses the need for both critical managers and strategic leaders in 21st century organisations. The Simplexity® qualification is offered through the Pearson Self-regulated Framework (SRF) which allows for qualifications to be specifically created and developed to meet the needs of learners and stakeholders, in the workplace.
Andy McCann, DNA Definitive Joint Founder and Director explains: "All of our training, coaching and development is about work based scenarios and real-life situations, and Pearson's is the best in the industry when it comes to supporting education in situ. Our own research and extensive work with UK organisations across multiple sectors has highlighted a very real need for leadership programmes that look at the challenges being faced by employees and business owners today.
"It's no longer enough, or indeed appropriate to deliver highly structured programmes that offer one-size fits all solutions to teams and individuals at work. The Simplexity® Leadership qualifications are aimed at leaders who understand, or desire to understand, the importance of human engagement to facilitate creativity, innovation, long-term sustainability and resilience."
The Leadership & Complexity qualifications are available at Level 5 (Professional Award), 6 (Professional Certificate) and 7 (Advanced Professional Diploma including individual Coaching).
Mark Wood, Account Manager National Accounts, Pearson WBL says: "Pearson recognises the value of this sort of programme in today's workplace and accredits DNA Definitive to deliver and assess under the Pearson world recognised brand. We are delighted to add DNA Definitive to our team of innovative and experienced educators."
Dr Paul Thomas, 'The Business Doctor", and Joint Founder and Director, DNA Definitive added: "We are experienced at working in and dealing with highly-pressured situations and empowering people to assess their work alongside all other aspects of their life. The 21st century workplace is about collaboration, trust, democracy and creativity, and no longer about command and control management techniques. Not everyone is happy to change their management approach, but through trust and creating a leadership environment that embraces collaboration, elite performance is possible, across the board. We have proof in numbers that the Simplexity® approach works and not only ensures improved business performance and profits, but makes for a happier workforce."
