MERIDIAN (dpa-AFX) - Media holding company Liberty Interactive Corp. (LINTA) Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings which declined, as increases in cost of sales and SG&A expenses offset revenue growth.
For the three months to June, net earnings declined to $105 million from $109 million a year earlier
Adjusted OIBTDA totaled $452 million, compared with $455 million a year earlier.
Revenues increased to $2.49 billion, from $2.40 billion a year earlier. Analysts expected revenues of $2.50 billion.
QVC's consolidated revenue increased 3 percent to $2.0 billion, while e-commerce revenues increased by 10 percent to $481 million.
