The German inverter manufacturer and smart technology specialist SMA is making smart home interconnectivity ever easier. The group's SMA Smart Home intelligent energy management system will now be able to incorporate home appliances from Bosch-owned manufacturing giant BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH). Bosch will be presenting the new solution, which uses the Home Connect standard with energy management via EEBus, for the first time at the IFA trade show in Berlin, which runs Sept. 4 - 9. Owners of PV systems that use the Home Connect app will be able to use their self-generated solar energy more efficiently to operate home appliances from the multi-brand company BSH Hausgeräte, maker of more than a dozen brand lines such as Bosch, Siemens, Thermador, Junker and Balay.
