ESPOO (dpa-AFX) - French telecom equipment maker Alcatel-Lucent (ALU), which is being acquired by Finnish network equipment maker Nokia Corp. (NOK), reported Thursday that its fourth quarter Group share of net income was 589 million euros or 0.18 euro per share or $0.19 per ADS. Adjusted net income Group share was 592 million euros
Excluding Nokia transaction related costs, Group share of net income reached 659 million euros. Significantly higher than 271 million euros last year.
Revenues climbed 13 percent to 4.16 billion euros from 3.68 billion euros last year. Group revenues, excluding Managed Services and at constant perimeter, increased 15% year-on-year and 6% at constant exchange rates.
The company also announced the successful completion of the Shift Plan, which was started in 2013.
