Yesterday Panasonic released its financial results for Fiscal Year (FY) 2016, reporting a 3% fall in sales in its Eco Solutions business to ¥1.61 trillion (US$14.8 billion). Additionally, the division's profit has fallen 18% to ¥78.4 billion, representing a slim 5% margin. Panasonic's FY 2016 ended March 31. Panasonic says that this decline was mainly due to "sales decrease in solar photovoltaic systems for house-use in Japan".
