CHICAGO (dpa-AFX) - Japanese airline All Nippon Airlines Thursday said it will cancel some Dreamliner flights over the coming weeks in order to fix issues with the aircraft's Rolls-Royce engines.
ANA with a fleet of 50 Dreamliners is the largest operator of Boeing's 787. The Japanese carrier said it has canceled nine flights with the aircraft on Friday and will ground more than 300 through September-end.
ANA will replace compressor blades in the aircraft's Trent 1000 engines produced by Rolls-Royce due to corrosion.
