GP Strategies to get $9M from EDS in litigation settlement

NEW YORK (AFX) -- GP Strategies Corp. said Tuesday it settled the remaining claims against Electronic Data Systems Corp. arising out of the GP's 1998 acquisition of Learning Technologies. The White Plains, N.Y., training, management consulting and engineering services company said under the settlement, EDS will pay $9 million cash by Dec. 14. GP said related fraud claims against MCI haven't been settled.
